HealthierHere is honored to receive an Emmy® nomination alongside our Indigenous Nations Committee, Sky Bear Media, and Native collaborators for our video, “Indigenous Health & Sovereignty: Fostering Healthier Communities.”
This short film tells the story of how organizations and Native leaders across our region are working together to improve the health and well-being of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Indigenous peoples, through approaches rooted in tradition, first languages, culture, and self-determination.
It is a love letter to Native communities, and an invitation to non-Native communities to step into ongoing education, co-creation, and action.
Stories have the power to heal and mobilize change. We’re thrilled to see this project recognized alongside newsrooms and organizations across the Pacific Northwest.
HealthierHere is nominated in the category of “Branded Content-Short Form Content,” and is proud to be one of the few small nonprofits represented across all of the categories.

We look forward to celebrating together at the 61st Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards on May 30th.
