HealthierHere is proud to announce that the Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) has joined our Community Hub as a Case Management Partner. This partnership connects King County residents to SIHB's longstanding culturally grounded, whole-person care services and deepens the Community Hub's engagement with American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN)communities.

The HealthierHere Community Hub is a free, confidential service that pairs King County residents with CommunityBased Workers (CBWs), who can provide one-on-one support to help navigate and access health and social resources, including food, housing, health care, transportation, and more. All King County residents are eligible regardless of income, insurance, or immigration or housing status.

Founded in 1970, SIHB is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a nationally recognized leader in urban Indian health. Its mission to advocate for and provide culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health and human services to American Indians and Alaska Natives, aligns directly with HealthierHere's commitment to health equity and community-centered care. SIHB offers a comprehensive range of services, including primary care, behavioral health, dental, housing assistance, case management, and gender-based violence support, all delivered with deep cultural knowledge and trust.

Seattle Indian Health Board has always believed that whole-person health means walking alongside people, not just treating conditions. Partnering with HealthierHere allows us to extend that same commitment to more King County residents, and to do it in away that honors who they are. — Esther Lucero (Diné), President & CEO, Seattle Indian Health Board.

Through this partnership, SIHB's Community Based Workers will accept referrals from the HealthierHere Community Hub and work alongside individuals and families to identify and access the resources that best meet their needs. CBWs at SIHB bring both professional expertise and lived experiences. Many share language, culture, or background with the community members they serve, tending to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of relatives, a term SIHB uses to describe the people they serve.

SIHB has been a trusted home of health and belonging for Seattle's Native community for over 50 years. We are honored to partner with them to ensure that the relatives they serve have a direct, culturally appropriate connection to the full range of resources available across King County. — John Kim, CEO, HealthierHere

HealthierHere continues to strengthen and grow the Community Hub's network of care across King County, supporting partners with ongoing training, technical assistance, and funding. SIHB joins a growing cohort of community-based organizations serving residents across the region with case management and care coordination that is rooted in community, culture, and trust.
