Please see below an update from United Healthcare Community Plan of Washington (UHC) to join their Community and Member Advisory Council:

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Washington (UHC) is forming a Community and Member Advisory Council to ensure the health care needs of all UHC Apple Health (Medicaid) members are addressed. The Council will advise UHC on advancing quality of care and health equity.

As a valued community stakeholder, we invite you to join our Community and Member Advisory Council.

Meetings will discuss topics such as:

• Culturally appropriate programs and services
• Health related social needs
• Member experience and communications
• Quality and health equity initiatives

Council meeting details:

• The Council will meet quarterly for one-hour.
• Meetings will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. In the future, we may offer hybrid meetings (in-person and virtual).
• We encourage your attendance at each meeting, but we understand if you are unable to attend a meeting or two.
• The first meeting is planned for October 22^nd, 2024 at 12:00 PM PST. The next meeting is planned for January 28^th, 2025 at 12:00 PM PST.
