Today begins a new chapter for HealthierHere: it's John Kim's first day on the job as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)! Hear from John in his own words below and see upcoming opportunities to meet him and engage.

Hello, HealthierHere community!

I am thrilled to hit the ground running today stepping into the role of HealthierHere's CEO. I was attracted to HealthierHere because of the skill, knowledge, experience, dedication, and diversity of the staff, board, and partners. HealthierHere has been charged with making significant improvements in access to quality healthcare for all people, and that resonates deeply with me. We are uniquely positioned to make transformative, system-wide change – what could be better?

As I've learned more in the ramp-up to starting, I am continually impressed by the breadth and depth of the relationships that HealthierHere has built and maintained. Solutions to complex problems must be sophisticated and nuanced, and having diverse stakeholders participating authentically is key to developing such solutions. I am most looking forward to making connections with all of you - HealthierHere’s stakeholders!

I'm excited to get to know this community in the coming weeks through meet and greets with HealthierHere's board, staff, and partners. I'll be doing a deep dive to build my understanding of HealthierHere's strategies and operations, working closely with Thuy Hua-Ly in her transition from Interim CEO to Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO).

I am grateful to be a part of this community and look forward to embarking on this journey together!
