Christine Glynn (she/her) joins HealthierHere as a Community Hub Operations Specialist! Learn more about Christine in her welcome interview below:

What are you most looking forward to working with HealthierHere and our partners?

I am very excited about the work that HealthierHere is doing and the potential of what is to come. I am eager to collaborate with and learn from my new colleagues as well as our partner organizations and their work in making healthcare more equitable.

What drives your passion for this work?

I have seen how beneficial and life changing it can be to receive help navigating complex systems, and I am excited to be in a role that utilizes my natural strengths so that I can continue serving my community. I love people, animals, and the environment and feel protective of them all! I love being of service, and it is important to me that my work is contributing to something I believe in and that it aligns with my values.

What is something about you that others might not know?

I love learning and get passionate and excited about different subjects. My passion for herbalism and environmentalism (which I studied for a few years under a local teacher) has weirdly led me on a path to reconnecting with family in Norway and learning Norwegian which I have been studying for the last two years.
